(1)  Consider the disk of the diameter 4 cm.


     Calculate its volume V%5B1%5D = pi%2A%28d%5E2%2F4%29%2A%283%2F2%29 cubic centimeters.


     Similarly, calculate the volume of the central hole of 2 cm in diameter.


     From V%5B1%5D, subtract the volume of the central hole, You will obtain the volume v%5B1%5D of the solid metal.



(2)  Do the same for two other disks and find the solid metal volumes  v%5B2%5D  and  v%5B3%5D  for that disks.



(3)  Add  v%5B1%5D,  v%5B2%5D  and  v%5B3%5D to get the total solid metal volume.



(4)  Multiply the total solid metal volume by the density to get the mass of the pulley.
