.

In my solution,  I will assume that  U  and  V  are positive real numbers.

The modulus is   sqrt%28%28-3%29%5E2+%2B+%28-4%29%5E2%29 = sqrt%2816%2B25%29 = sqrt%2825%29 = 5.

The angle is   alpha%29 = arctan%28%28-4%29%2F%28-3%29%29 + pi = arctan%284%2F3%29 + pi.

The polar form is   (5, alpha).
