.

The outcomes that give the sum of 6 are

    (1,5), (2,4), (3,3), (4,2), (5,1) - in all, 5 outcomes.

The outcomes that give the sum of 7 are

    (1,6), (2,5), (3,4), (4,3), (5,2), (6,1) - in all, 6 outcomes.

Thus, there are 5+6 = 11 favorable outcomes among 36 possible outcomes.

The probability to get the desired sum is 11%2F36. ANSWER
