How do i solve draw the graph of y=x2+ x-5 for the values of x ranging from -4 to +3
---------------
Use ^ (Shift 6) for exponents.
y=x^2 + x-5
-----
Sub values from -4 to 3 for x and find y.
eg, y = (-4)^2 + (-4) - 5 = 16 -4 -5 = 7
---> the point (-4,7)
------------------------------------
If by "solve" you mean find the zeroes, then find where the parabola intersects the x-axis.

Hi
 One either can read the points off the graph:
Here because of the symmetry, makes the task easier:
(-4, 7) (-3,1)  (-2, -3) (-1, -5) ... will let You finish.
 One can Graph the equation knowing the points:
 y = x^2 + x - 5
