Hi

+%28105%2F350%29%2A100+= 30% of the total cost he has saved.

make a mixture of peanuts and walnuts that cost $2.70 per pound.
how many pounds of peanuts at $1.50 per pound should be with
24 pounds of walnuts at $3.50 per pound
(3.50) 24 + 1.50x = 2.70(x + 24) = 2.70x + (2.70)24
.80(24)/1.20 = 16lbs of peanuts should be added

Divide the amount saved by the total cost, move the decimal point two places to the right, affix a percent sign.
