.

Let x be the dimension of the planted area (the square), in feet.

Then the garden, surrounded by the walkway of the uniform constant width is the square with the side length (x + 2*3) = (x+6) feet.

Its area is 18000 square feet, which gives this equation

    (x+6)^2 = 18000.

Hence,   x+6 = sqrt%2818000%29 = 134 feet (approximately),  and  x = 134 - 6 = 128 feet.     ANSWER

corner "edge" or corner "edges"? "Its corner edge" as written means just one of the corners; not all four of them.

x the edge length of the square planted area
%28x%2B3%29%28x%2B3%29=18000

x%2B3=sqrt%2818000%29
x=-3%2Bsqrt%2818000%29

x=131.16------------but probably not the intended interpretation.
