You can put this solution on YOUR website! 2 is common to all the terms 2(12x^2+5x-2) ___ now you need to "combine" factors for 12 and -2 to get 5
___ "combining" involves multiplying and then adding
factors of 12 ___ 1,12 ___ 2,6 ___ 3,4
factors of -2 ___ -1,2 ___ 1,-2
2 times 4 is 8, and 1 times 3 is 3, 8 and 3 can give you 5 (with the right signs)
2(4x-1)(3x+2)
