Question 1173805: What's the formula for changing rational numbers to fraction
Answer by ikleyn(52914) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! .
If I understand your question correctly, it is about converting rational numbers to decimal fractions.
If so, there is no any direct/explicit formula for it.
Instead, there is a PROCEDURE for it, and this procedure is called
long division of integer numbers.
This technique is slightly complicated for explanation, since it requires a lot of writing and,
which is even worst, a lot of accurately formatted writing.
Nevertheless, I collected for you some list of Internet sources that might be helpful.
