Hi,
Fencing costs $2.50/meter.
If $150.00 has been budgeted for this fence, what dimensions will make the
largest yard assuming it will be fenced
A Given Area in the shape of a Square minimizes the fencing.
150/(2.50/m) = 60m of fencing is amount of fencing that can be purchased.
a) 4-sides, 15m on all sides 60%2F4
b) 3-sides, 20m on the 3 sides. 60%2F3

Hello,  let me tell you that formulation of your problem is  FATALLY  INCOMPLETE.

It is incomplete,  because it  DOES  NOT  describe/define the form / (the shape)  of the plot to be fenced.

If you neglect to provide a full description,  you  SHOULD  NOT  expect to get the correct answer.
