Question 1173238: Burt says: I have drawn a triangle.
One side is 1" long, and it has angles of 90o and 20o.
Max, you draw a triangle with the same two properties.
Max says: My triangle will be congruent to yours, because all triangles that have those three properties must be congruent

You can put this solution on YOUR website! Burt says: I have drawn a triangle.
One side is 1" long, and it has angles of 90o and 20o.
Max, you draw a triangle with the same two properties.
Max says: My triangle will be congruent to yours, because all triangles that have those three properties must be congruent
Is max right?
-------------------
No.
The 1" side can be between any 2 of the 3 angles.
Max is dead wrong. This is a right triangle. If Burt and Max happened to choose different sides to be the side measuring 1 inch, the triangles would not be congruent.
By the way, if you want to indicate the measure of an angle in degrees and you don't have the ability to type the actual degrees symbol, spell out the word. Do not use a lower case letter 'o'.
