I don't know if they are asking for the price with or without tax.
On similar problems, but in context of this problem, I would follow the formula of Total Cost - The Oranges = x, but I guess it doesn't work.

You can put this solution on YOUR website! ($39.39-$2.91)/24=x, the cost of the juice bottle. The tax rate is not mentioned, so you can ignore it.
=$36.48/24
=$1.52 per bottle

It is total cost-oranges=24x, since there are 24 bottles.
