Then you have this "time" equation


    x%2F16 - x%2F18 = 25%2F60  minutes.


To solve it, multiply both sides by 16*18*60.  You will get then


    18*60x - 16*60x = 25*16*18,   or

       x = %2825%2A16%2A18%29%2F%2818%2A60-16%2A60%29 = now use your calculator = 60.


ANSWER.  The unknown length is 60 cm.
