    75%2F3 = 60%2Fx.


From the proportion,


    x = %283%2A60%29%2F75 = 180%2F75 = 12%2F5 = 2 2%2F5 hours = 2 hours and 24 minutes.    ANSWER

Here is another that some students may like better.

(Multiply the given time by the ratio of the numbers of newspapers in the two cases....)

3+%2A+%2860%2F75%29+=+3%284%2F5%29+=+12%2F5

ANSWER: 12/5 hours, or 2 2/5 hours, or 2 hours 24 minutes

In common sense ordinary language, 4/5 as many newspapers to deliver means 4/5 as much time is required.
