If one shelf, then let length=s and height=h
h=s+3
so s+h=24=2s+3
s=10.5 feet, h=13.5 feet.

if 2 shelves, then h=s+3 and lumber is 2s+s+3=3s+3=24
3s=21 and s=7 feet and height=10 feet.
