taking the log gives (5x-2)(log(2x+9))=0
individually setting the factors equal to zero gives
5x-2=0 ___ 5x=2 ___ x=2/5
log(2x+9)=0 ___ 2x+9=1 ___ 2x=-8 ___ x=-4
