You can put this solution on YOUR website!
.

According to the condition, the sum of their ages five years ago was 24 - 5 - 5 = 14 years.

At the same time, the ratio of their ages was 3:4.

The only solution is

    %283%2A14%29%2F%283%2B4%29 = 3*2 = 6 years for Paul

and

    %284%2A14%29%2F%283%2B4%29 = 4*2 = 8 years for Peter

five years ago.

So, now they are 6+5 = 11 and 8+5 = 13 years old. ANSWER

Solved.
