IF YOU MULTIPLY YOUR FACTORS:

X^3-26X^2+48X HOWEVER YOU HAVE ALREADY FACTORED OUT THE X TERM FROM ALL ELEMENTS WHICH IF YOU MULTIPLIES THIS TERM BY X YOU WOULD GET
X^4-26X^3+48X^2 WHICH IS NOT WHAT YOU STARTED WITH.
