Question 116816: Need some help. I have figured out the first part of this question but need help on the second.
Evaluate the functions for the values of x given as 1,2,4,8 and 16. This is the first part that I figured out.
f(x)=x^2+5x+6
f(1)=1^2+5*1+6=12
f(2)=2^2+5*2+6=20
f(4)=4^2+5*8+6=42
f(8)=8^2+5*4+6=110
f(16)=16^2+5*16+6=342
I need to know which increases the fastest? The slowest? And how their outputs compare since the input is the same?
Need help just not sure how to answer second part???

You can put this solution on YOUR website! I don't think you stated the entire problem. You make reference to "functions" but you only specify one function, and the second part of the question implies that you need to evaluate a second and third (maybe more) functions for the same input values to see which of the functions is greatest or smallest for a given x value.
The evaluation of the one function you did give is correct for each of the values presented, so it is clear you are on the right track there.
