Linear pair means they add to 180 degrees, a straight angle.
x is angle 6, 180-x is angle 7
2x-12=4(180-x)
2x-12=720-4x
6x=732
x=122 degrees angle 6
180-x=58 degrees angle 7
2(122)=4(58)+12
