You can put this solution on YOUR website!
the formula is:
c = 50 + 3.50 * x
c is the total cost
x is the number of hours.
if you rent the truck for 5 hours, then x = 5 and the formula becomes:
c = 50 + 3.50 * 5
solve for c to get:
c = 67.5 dollars.

solution
Total cost =50+3.5x where x is hired time in hours
here time is 5 hours
total cost=50+5*3.5
total cost=50+17.5
