Question 1166658: It’s your birthday!!! You want to rent a hall to have a party, but you don’t want to pay too much for it.
You find two rental halls that charge accordingly:
Parties ‘R Us: C = 200 + 10g
Hall of Dreams: C = 15g
where g is the number of guests and C is the cost to rent the hall in dollars.

a) When will the cost be equal for both halls?

b) What is the cost from part a?

c) Given that Covid-19 is restricting gatherings to a maximum of 10 people, which place would be best to rent and why?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
equal when 200+10g=15g
5g=200
g=40
the cost for both of these would be $600.
Renting for 10 people maximum, use Hall of Dreams because no fixed cost. It would be $150.
Parties 'R Us would be $300. Both g values would be 10 in this instance.
