You can put this solution on YOUR website!
take logs of both sides
(x+2) log 4= (-2x-3) log 6
(x+2)/(-2x-3)=log 6/log 4=1.2925
x+2=(-2x-3)(1.2925)=-2.5850x-3.8775
3.5850x=-5.8775
x=-1.639
4^0.361=6^0.278
1.649=1.646 the difference being due to rounding error.
