.

Let x be the number of adults; then the number of children is (237-x).

The money equation (the revenue equation) is

    5.20*x + 2*(237-x) = 810   dollars.

From the equation

    x = %28810+-+2%2A237%29%2F%285.20-2%29 = 105.

ANSWER. 105 adults and the rest, 237-105 = 132, are children.

CHECK.  5.20*105 + 132*2.00 = 810 dollars.   ! Correct !
