There is a very easy formula to remember:
a%2Fb=c%2Fd means ad=bc

Likewise, %282%2F3%29%2Ak=3%2F4 really means
%282k%29%2F3=3%2F4, so 2k%2A4+=+3%2A3
8k=+9
k=9%2F8
