She plans to do this by blending together a high-quality bean costing $5.50 per pound and a cheaper bean at $2.50 per pound. To the nearest pound, find how much high-quality coffee bean and how much cheaper coffee bean she should blend.

You can put this solution on YOUR website! .
Let x be the amount (in pounds) of the high-quality coffee.
Then the amount of the rest coffee is (150-x) pounds.
The ingredients cost 5.50x + 2.50*(150-x) dollars.
The mixture coffee costs 150*4.10 dollars.
Both dollars are assumed the same, giving you this equation
5.50x + 2.50*(150-x) = 150*4.10,
From the equation,
x - = 80.
ANSWER. 80 pounds at $4.10 and the rest, 150-80 = 70 pounds at $2.50 should be mixed to reach the goal.
