Question 1162376: For this problem find the mean as well as the Standard Deviation.
X 0 1 2 3 4
P(x) .07 .20 .38 .22 .13
I was able to get the mean by using formula X= xp(x)=0(0.7)+1(.20) +2(.38) +3 (.22) +4(.13) which added all together gave me a mean of 2.14
For the standard deviation I keep getting confused on whether or not I'm inputting it correctly and cannot get the answer (0-2.14) squared(0) + (1-2.14) squared (.20) + (2-2.14)Squared and I just don't think I'm doing it right can you help me solve this last half please?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!

To get the Standard Deviation, first calculate the Variance

Then the Standard Deviation is the square root of the variance.

My calculator said it, I believe it, that settles it
