Given a ratio of 2:3:4 for the dimensions of the box, one standard way to start on the problem is to let the three dimensions be 2x, 3x, and 4x.
Then, since the volume is length times width times height,
So the dimensions of the box are
2x=10
3x=15
4x=20
CHECK: 10*15*20 = 3000
