A farmer is adding a rectangular corral to the side of a barn. The barn will form one side of the rectangle. The farmer has 16 of fencing to use. Contudct an explanation to determine the dimensions of the corral with maximum area??

THE MAXIMUM AREA OF A RECTANGLE IS IN THE FORM OF A SQUARE.
THUS THE FARMER NEEDS TO FENCE IN 3 SIDES OF EQUAL LENGTH.
16/3=5.1/3(WHATEVER) FOR EACH LENGTH OF FENCING.
