Centripetal acceleration  a = v%5E2%2FR = 2%5E2%2F1.5 = 2.666... m/s^2.



Angular velocity = 2%2Api%2An radians per second,  where "n" is the number of rotations per second,


which is  n = 2%2F%282%2Api%2AR%29.


In the last formula, the "2" in the numerator is the given speed, and the denominator is the circumference of the circle.


So,  n = 2%2F%282%2A3.14%2A1.5%29 = 0.2123 rotations per second,  and therefore angular velocity of the particle is


    2%2Api%2A0.2123 = 2*3.14*0.2123 = 1.333 radians per second.
