Time to move up, up to the maximum height, is   seconds =  = 0.5 seconds, approximately.
So, after 0.5 s + 0.5 s = 1 second, the ball will return to the original height/level, moving down,
and what will happen after that, depends on the level of the starting point.
Since the problem is silent about it, it is a provocative problem.
