Question 1159652: Use fundamental identities to find the values of the trigonometric functions for the given conditions.
csc θ = 6 and cot θ < 0
a). sin θ
b). cos θ
c). tan θ
I got 1/6 for sin which is correct. I got sqrt%2835%29/6 for cos which is wrong and sqrt%2835%29/35 for tan which is wrong too. What am I doing wrong?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
.

Your angle is in the second quarter, where cot, tan and cosine are negative.

So, you should take yours cosine and tan values with the sign minus ( " - ").

Is my explanation clear to you ?
