You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Grace buys a bicycle for $60
and a pair of roller skates for $28.
Total purchase $88
Tax on her purchase was at rate of 4%.
(4/100)*88 is the tax
$ 3.52
$88+$3.52 = $91.52
100-91.52 = $8.42 change she will receive if she pays with a $100 note

The answer $8.42 for the change in the post by @mananth is incorrect.

The correct answer is $8.48.

            100 - 1.04*(60+28) = 8.48 dollars.
