Question 1157300: 2.The Bay of Fundy in Nova Scotia has the highest tides in the world. In one 12-hour period the water starts at mean sea level, rises to 21 feet above mean sea level, drops to 21 feet below mean sea level, then returns to mean sea level. Assuming that the motion of the tides is simple harmonic,
(a) find the function that describes the height of the tide in the Bay of Fundy.
(b) Graph at least one cycle of the function on graph paper.

You can put this solution on YOUR website! .
As the problem is worded, printed, submitted and presented, it can not be solved in correct way,
because the formulation in the post is INCORRECT and confusing.
In order for to be correct, the post/(the problem) must say that the TIDE starts at 6 am.
(not the "starting time of the day is 6 am.")
Dear authors, in order for the problem could be solved in a right way, it should be FORMULATED in a right way, first.
Moreover, in order for the problem MAKE SENSE, at all, it should be FORMULATED in a right way.
