of the cylinder's base

+C+=+2pi%2A%28+6%2F2+%29+
+C+=+6pi+
+C+=+18.85+ in

Let +S+ = surface area of cylinder
+S+=+C%2Ah+
+S+=+18.85%2A8+
+S+=+150.8+ in2

This is the surface area not counting
the areas of the circular bases. I don't think
they want to include the bases
