Then the number of the upper box tickets is 490-x


The money equation is


    12.50*x + 8*(490-x) = 4343   dollars.


From the equation, express x and calculate

ANSWER.  94 lower box tickets and the rest, 490-94 = 396 upper reserved tickets.
