You can put this solution on YOUR website!
the density of salt is 2.16g/cm^3 an empty cupboard salt canister weighs 28g, is 13.6 cm tall and has a 4cm radius.
how much will a filled canister weigh?
:
Find the volume of the salt canister
v = pi%2A4%5E2%2A13.6
v = 683.6 cu/cm
:
Find the weight of this amt of salt
683.6 * 2.16 = 1476.6 grams
:
Add to the weight of the canister
1476.6 + 28 = 1504.6 grams, the weight of the salt and the canister
