At least one boy is 1-probability (0 boys)=1-(1/16)=(15/16)

the probability that it's a boy is .5
the probability that it's a girl is .5
the probability that, out of 4 children, at least one of them will be a boy is equal to 1 minus the probability that none of them will be boys.
since the probability that it's a boy is .5, then the probability that it's not a boy is also .5.
the the probability of 0 boys of of 4 is .5 * .5 * .5 * .5 = .0625.
1 - .0625 = .9375.
that's the probability that at least one of them will be a boy.
