You can put this solution on YOUR website!
-4%282x%2B3%29-2%28x%2B4%29%3C0 Start with the given inequality

-8x-12-2x-8%3C0 Distribute

-10x-20%3C0 Combine like terms on the left side

-10x%3C0%2B20Add 20 to both sides

-10x%3C20 Combine like terms on the right side

x%3E%2820%29%2F%28-10%29 Divide both sides by -10 to isolate x (note: Remember, dividing both sides by a negative number flips the inequality sign)

x%3E-2 Divide

--------------------------------------------------------------
Answer:
So our answer is x%3E-2 which is in interval notation

solve for x and express answer in interval notation and to show all steps:
-4(2x+3)-2(x+4)<0
----------------
-8x-12-2x-8 < 0
-10x -20 < 0
Divide thru by -10 to get:
x +2 > 0
x > -2
Solution: (-2,+inf)
