perimeter of rectangle = 2l +2w
2L+2W =84
w=3
2L+6=84
2L =84-16
2L =68
l = 68/2

perimeter of rectangle = 2L + 2W

2L + 2W = 84

W = 3

2L + 6 = 84

2L = 84 - 6

2L = 78

L = 78/2

l = 39 feet.         ANSWER

The longest side, also is two of them.
