The answer from tutor @josgarithmetic is not right.

The amount of markup is 750% of the cost: %280.20%29%287.50%29+=+1.50

ANSWER: The AMOUNT OF MARKUP is $1.50 for each soda.

(The PRICE of the soda AFTER MARKUP is $0.20+$1.50 = $1.70)
