You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let +x+ = pounds that Gina picked
+3x+ = pounds that Karen picked
+%28+3x+%29%2F2+ = pounds that Bob picked
--------------------------------------------
+x+%2B+3x+%2B+%28+3x+%29%2F2+=+2200+
+%28+8x+%29%2F2+%2B+%28+3x+%29%2F2+=+2200+
+%28+11x+%29%2F2+=+2200+
+11x+=+4400+
+x+=+400+
and
+3x+=+1200+
and
+%28+3x+%29%2F2+=+600+
------------------------
Karen picked 1200 pounds
Bob picked 600 pounds
Gina picked 400 pounds
---------------------------------
check:
+x+%2B+3x+%2B+%28+3x+%29%2F2+=+2200+
+400+%2B+1200+%2B+600+=+2200+
+2200+=+2200+
OK

Improper English; so we would have to guess what the real meaning of the problem is in order to answer it.

But guessing what your question means is not our job; so we won't answer it.

"A picked twice AS MANY AS B" --> B picked x amount; the amount A picked was 2 times x, or 2x.

"A picked three times MORE THAN B" --> B picked x amount; the amount A picked was x, plus three times x, or x+3x = 4x.

"A picked four times MORE AS B" --> Not proper English; we don't know what it means....
