7.55-6.25=$0.7/7.55=0.096*100=9.6%
7.55-6.25=0.7/6.25=0.106*100=10.6%

When you have a problem of this type
"The value of X increased from "a" to "b". By what percentage did the value of X increase ?"
it is important to relate the difference to the right base.
The common agreement is that in such problems, the difference should be related to the original value,
i.e. to value of "a", in this case.
