The questions are not well defined....

a. Assuming we are only choosing among the snacks ( and not among the snacks AND the drinks), and that the chip is chosen and eaten before choosing the cookie (rather than choosing the chip, changing your mind and putting it back, and then choosing a cookie), the probability is

P(chip then cookie) = (3/6)(2/5) = 1/5

b. Again assuming we are choosing among only the drinks, the probability of choosing a juice is obviously 2/4 = 1/2.
