You can put this solution on YOUR website!
.

There are several ways to get the answer.

1. First calculate deceleration a = 29%2F7.2 = 4.027778 m/s^2.

    Next calculate the distance d = %28at%5E2%29%2F2 = %284.02778%2A7.20%5E2%29%2F2 = 104.4 meters.

2. Or do the calculation, using average speed V%5Baverage%5D = 29.0%2F2 = 14.5 m/s.

    Then the distance to the rest is d = V%5Baverage%5D%2At = 14.5*7.20 = 104.4 meters --- the same answer.

If this problem came from Physics / Mechanics, then it should be explained in these courses.
