You can put this solution on YOUR website!
1/2(5m+2)=1/3(7m+12)
(5m+2)/2=(7m+12)/3 now cross multiply:
3(5m+2)=2(7m+12)
15m+6=14m+24
15m-14m=24-6
m=18 answer.
proof:
1/2(5*18+2)=1/3(7*18+12
1/2(90+2)=1/3(126+12)
1/2*92=1/3*138
46=46

You can put this solution on YOUR website!

%281%2F2%29%285m%2B2%29=%281%2F3%29%287m%2B12%29 Start with the given equation

%286%29%28%281%2F2%29%285m%2B2%29%29=%286%29%28%281%2F3%29%287m%2B12%29%29 Multiply both sides by the LCM of 6. This will eliminate the fractions (note: if you need help with finding the LCM, check out this solver)

3%285m%2B2%29=2%287m%2B12%29 Distribute and multiply the LCM to each side

15m%2B6=14m%2B24 Distribute

15m=14m%2B24-6Subtract 6 from both sides

15m-14m=24-6 Subtract 14m from both sides

m=24-6 Combine like terms on the left side

m=18 Combine like terms on the right side

--------------------------------------------------------------
Answer:
So our answer is m=18
