You can put this solution on YOUR website!

to turn 6y+=+-3x+%2B+30 into y=mx%2Bb form, just solve for y
6y+=+-3x+%2B+30........both sides divide by 6
6y%2F6+=+-3x%2F6+%2B+30%2F6...simplify

y+=+-%281%2F2%29x+%2B+5-> this is y=mx%2Bb form; as you can see, slope m=-%281%2F2%29 and y-intercept is 5

By%281%2FB%29=-Ax%281%2FB%29%2BC%281%2FB%29

y=-Ax%2FB%2BC%2FB

You solve for y.
============
That's always how you do it.
=============
An example:
Ax + By = C ----- A, B & C are constants.
Solve for y
By = -Ax + C
y = (-A/B)x + C/B
------
Don't memorize it.
Just remember, "Solve for y."
