You can put this solution on YOUR website!
let the age of a mother be x and the age of her daughter y
if the age of a mother is three times the age of her daughter, we have
x=3y........eq.1

what will be the daughter age when her mother is 81 year:
81-x=3y
x=81-3y ........eq.2
3y=81-3y
6y=81
y=13.5
x=3%2A13.5
x=40.5

the age of a mother highlight%28now%29: highlight%2840.5%29
and the age of her daughter highlight%28now%29: highlight%2813.5%29

in 81-40.5=40.5 years mother's age will be 81 and daughter's age will be 13.5%2B40.5=highlight%2854%29
