The correct way should start from the description of the configuration / (the figure) in whole / (in large):
if it is a triangle; a parallelogram; a trapezoid or a set of segments in a line, etc.
After that, you can describe relations between elements.
Otherwise, your description is unreadable.
It is unreadable in that sense, that from this description we CAN NOT restore the picture.
