3/X=-11/4 CROSS MULTIPLY
-11X=12
X=12/-11
X=-12/11 ANSWER.
PROOF
1/(-12/11)+2(-12/11)+3=1/4
1(-11/12)+2(-11/12=1/4-3
-11/12-22/12=-11/4
-33/12=-11/4
-11/4=-11/4
