It is (x+3)^2-2
you do this by finding the x-value vertex of the function, which is x=-b/2a, or 6/-2 or -3
when x=-3, the function has value 9-18+7, or -2
Now put in vertex form which changes the sign of h, or -3 to +x and keeps the value of k above, or -2
(x-h)^2+k or (x+3)^2-2 ANSWER
that is x^2+6x+9-2 or x^2+6x+7
